Opening Day of Trout Season in PA

March 30th marks the opening day of trout fishing season in Pennsylvania. Fisherman were out in numbers on the Neshaminy Creek in Tyler Park, Bucks County.

Taking home trout dinner. It just doesn't get any better after a day of fishing.

Thumbs up to a good day fishing on the opening day of trout fishing.

Wintery Saturday in Bucks

March 16th, only a few days until the first day of Spring, Winter shows us the season is not over yet. It looks like I will not be getting any shots of the comet tonight, so I will make the best of it and shoot the day.

Waiting for a Comet

Just on the other side of these clouds is the comet I came to photograph this evening. A disappointing night for those in Bucks county looking to the skies to see Comet 2013 Pan-STARRS as cloud cover raced the setting sun Friday night. Fortunately the comet will be appearing just after sunset for a couple more weeks. Follow this link to learn more about the comet.

Snowy Bucks

With very little post production work in the digital dark room, these images came out of the camera looking like art. A combination of understanding the camera and an eye to frame the subject. Most important, a great scene to photograph. Nature provided one day of ideal snow shooting on Friday.

A little winter humor. I imagine the local Polar Bear Club might be disappointed.
